A mysterious message prompts James Bond (Daniel Craig) to travel to Mexico City and Rome on his own. There, he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and unattainable widow of a notorious criminal. As Bond infiltrates a secret meeting, he uncovers the existence of the dark and mysterious organization SPECTRE.

Meanwhile, Max Denbigh (Andrew Scott), the new head of the Centre for National Security, questions Bond's actions and doubts the significance of MI6 under M's (Ralph Fiennes) leadership. Bond secretly reaches out to Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) for help in locating Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux), the daughter of his former nemesis Mr. White (Jesper Christensen), who may hold the key to solving the mystery. As the daughter of a killer, she can relate to Bond better than anyone before.

The closer Bond gets to the heart of SPECTRE, the more he learns about the chilling connection between himself and the elusive enemy (Christoph Waltz).
