It knocks

A stranger visits the ear specialist Manuel Ritter and wants a child from him. Although he is happily married and has two children, he cannot resist seduction. Nine months later he receives a card with the line It worked. Years later, when a knocking sound appears in his ear, Ritter suspects that his tinnitus must have something to do with his misstep.
