Rebecca's career-focused plans for Hanukkah are thrown into chaos when a promotion opportunity arises at work. Her boss asks Rebecca and her unbearable office colleague Chris, who is also her main competitor for the promotion, to plan the company's Christmas party. It quickly becomes clear that they must overcome their opposing styles to succeed. Meanwhile, Chris learns more about Rebecca and her family's Hanukkah traditions, and she begins to see him in a new light. Although feelings slowly develop between them, the constant competition for the promotion threatens to undermine everything.
