Grey nights

Spring 1943. The situation in Reykjavik is tense, as Iceland is occupied by the Americans. During these troubled times, a body is discovered on a beach near the city center. The man, a soldier, has apparently been murdered. Another case is occupying Commissioner Flóvent and his colleague Thorson from the military police: a woman who was often seen with soldiers has vanished without a trace. Is there a connection between the murder and the woman's disappearance? The commissioners are investigating in a delicate environment...
