Golden stones

Spring 2023. Yara likes the golden stumbling stones in front of her door. And the old woman Winter, who told her about Ella – the girl to whom one of the stones is dedicated. While fooling around, Leon snatched a passerby's funny round cap off his head. When he puts it on later, he is brutally beaten up. Nikolai immediately suspects that the attack on Leon was actually meant for him, after all, he is one of the few Jews in the area. As the three teenagers get to know each other, they not only uncover a lot about the background of the incident but also form a very special friendship. The story is told in a nuanced and sensitive way, with three very different teenagers at the center of the novel.
