Glorious lousy days

Spring and good mood? Enjoy the summer? Do something in the fall? Sledding in winter? The bear bite finds grumbling and grumbling much nicer. Seasons, pa! "I already know this from last year," growls the bear bite. "That doesn't matter," says the Tingeli cheerfully, "I know you from last year, too." The bear bite can't stop spring, even if he grumbles and plucks out the first crocuses. The Tingeli makes sure that the inhabitants of Timbuktu always come up with new ventures. During the big vacations: Summer school or a vacation? In the fall: flying kites or flying yourself? "Strange idea," grumbles the bear bite. But he finds winter the most terrifying: "Just snow in here!" he grumbles at the snow, angrily shovels it out of his garden and uses it to build the very sledding hill that everyone has been missing.
