Gloria

Gloria is 58 years old, lives in a small apartment in the heart of Santiago de Chile, has a job, two children, an ex-husband, and a strong desire for something new. A woman in the midst of life, a woman with a past. The film doesn't tell us much more about her. Instead, it allows us to participate in her daily life, in her existence. Every camera shot keeps her in focus. We see her applying lipstick and heading out again, alone, to the bars, to dance, to flirt. We witness how she tries to ignore the nighttime ruckus of her heartbroken neighbor by pulling the blanket over her ears. We hear her singing loudly in the car.
