The family business Glorex was founded in 1974 in Kölliken, Aargau, and initially achieved great success selling original Swiss fabric dolls. With bodies made of tricot fabric and clothing, accessories, and small wigs made from synthetic or real hair, the company created lovable, individual doll personalities. After relocating the company headquarters to Füllinsdorf in Basel-Landschaft and establishing a second location in Rheinfelden, Germany, it continuously expanded its doll range and added teddy bears. Later, Glorex consistently expanded its product range by acquiring individual manufacturers of hobby and leisure products and today employs around 50 staff members, offering over 10,000 innovative and high-quality items to competently serve the entire "creative leisure" market.
