Globi and the Pirate Island

Globi rummages through the attic and discovers the diary of his great-grandfather, who was the captain of a merchant ship. He decides to embark on a journey to find a long-lost pirate treasure. In search of the legendary pirate treasure, Globi experiences many adventures. He encounters a variety of people and all sorts of good and evil animals. The turtle James, who is almost 200 years old, becomes a valuable informant and friend. She helps Globi, who is also being pursued by persistent bandits wanting to claim the treasure for themselves, out of tight spots multiple times and is well-informed about the old pirates and their habits. With the help of some other animals, the two ultimately find the treasure and stand up to the bad guys and their leader Flint.
