Gateways to the Now

Eckhart Tolle was born in Germany and spent the first thirteen years of his life there. After completing his studies at the University of London, he worked in research and supervision at Cambridge University. At the age of twenty-nine, a profound spiritual transformation virtually erased his old identity and led to a fundamental change in his life. The following years were dedicated to understanding, integrating, and deepening this transformation, marking the beginning of an intense journey inward. For the past ten years, Eckhart has been a counselor and spiritual teacher. Since 1996, Eckhart has lived in Vancouver, Canada.
