Stories make the world a better place. New York in April 2020. During the first lockdown, the residents of an apartment building gather on the roof in the evenings to share stories with one another. Each tenant contributes a story (true or at least well-made up), and a new Decameron for our time begins to take shape. The tales are as diverse as the people who come together here, and through the stories in this extraordinary situation, a whole new sense of unity develops. Gradually, the group finds itself forming an unexpected community and caring for one another. Their time on the roof will remain in their memories forever, not just because of the pandemic.
