Joachim Masannek, born in 1960, studied German language and literature and philosophy as well as at the Academy of Film and Television. He has worked as a cameraman, set designer and screenwriter for film, TV and studio productions. Masannek is the coach of the real Wilde Kerle team and father of the two Wilde Kerle members Marlon and Leon. After the success of the book series and the first 'Wilde Kerle' cinema film in 2003, the second film about the 'Wilde Kerle' will be released in February 2005.
