Expectation

15-year-old Marco is a member of a clan that keeps its head above water with burglaries, thefts and begging. When the clan threatens to cripple him, Marco flees head over heels and stumbles across a corpse in the forest. The face of the dead man leaves him no peace and he does everything he can to solve the crime. At the same time, Carl Mørck also picks up the trail - it seems that the dead man is involved in a political scandal about the misappropriation of development aid funds. Together, Mørck and Marco get on the track of the plot. But Marco's former gang leader remains hot on their heels.
