Every year again

The audio book for the book of the same name Winter, Advent and Christmas time - a time of harmony, peace, joy and pancakes. Everyone loves each other, everyone is relaxed. The landscape is covered in snow for weeks on end and the frost conjures up beautiful ice flowers on the windows of the cosy, warm parlours where kind mothers bake bear claws and coconut buns. Dad trudges through the high snow in the white forest to fetch a beautiful Christmas tree for his loved ones. The children are out sledging all day and only return home in the afternoon, happy and red-cheeked, to listen to the stories told to them by their dear grandma. Grandad sits in the corner and carves little wooden figures for the nativity scene, smoking a pipe that smells good to relax. Everyone is already looking forward to the relatives coming to visit at Christmas. "Now he's gone completely mad, Toni the lurker. ", you might think to yourself, "as if that were reality. " I know, I know .... But that's exactly why - because the reality is actually different - I've tried to shed some humour on this reality.
