Captain Daddy Pig, Peppa, George, Mummy and Daddy borrow a boat from Grandpa. They spend a wonderful day on the river. If only there wasn't such tall reeds! When the boat finally gets stuck, it's Daddy's big moment. In Daddy Pig's office, Peppa and George visit him at work. Daddy's colleagues, Miss Rabbit and Mr. Duck, patiently show the children what they do on their computers. Of course, the most interesting part for the children is Daddy Pig's workspace. However, Peppa and George find it quite difficult to understand what Daddy Pig actually does all day.
It's Daddy's birthday. Unfortunately, he still has to go to work, but Peppa, George, and Mummy bake a delicious chocolate cake in the meantime. Then the three of them come up with an even bigger surprise for Daddy.
Peppa and George want to paint a picture. Daddy Pig, who is also an enthusiastic hobby painter, shows them how to mix new colors. Together, they paint a magnificent cherry tree. The picture is beautiful until suddenly the ducks appear and waddle over the freshly created artwork.
Peppa and her family go to the swimming pool. They meet the Duck family and everyone has a lot of fun together. The highlight of this lovely day is guaranteed by Daddy Pig: he presents himself as a seasoned diver!
