Erwin Düsedieker lives in the old police station of the village of Bramschebeck. He is considered slightly slow-witted and loves to wander through fields and meadows in rubber boots, sweatpants, a parka, and a police cap on his head, accompanied by Lothar, his loyal running duck and friend in all situations. Erwin secretly reads books and enjoys bathing in his luxury bathtub. However, he never expected that he, the son of the former village policeman who is unfit for police service, would one day have to solve a real criminal case.
