About the Author:
Emil Steinberger, Swiss cabaret artist, born in 1933 in Lucerne. Initially a postal worker. At the age of 27, he began a five-year training as a graphic designer at the Lucerne School of Design. In 1965, he founded the small theater in Lucerne. He then programmed two cinemas in Lucerne. Since the age of 20, he has been performing as a cabaret artist. He lived in Lucerne until the age of 60. In 1977, he performed for a season with the Swiss National Circus KNIE. In 1978, he played a leading role in the film 'Die Schweizermacher'. He had roles in other films as well. In 1980, he assisted at Circus Roncalli. From 1993 to 1999, he lived in New York. Since 1999, Emil Steinberger has been living with his wife Niccel in Switzerland, by Lake Geneva. Since 1999, he has been on stage as an author with the program 'Three Angels!', in which he tells quirky and incredible stories from his life. In 2000, Emil and his wife Niccel Steinberger founded the publishing house 'Edition E'. Since 2006, there have been several exhibitions of the joint 'Weekly Papers' by Emil and Niccel Steinberger.
