Product details
A large part of Swiss folk music has always been music for dancing. In the 'Alpin Project' traditional soundscapes and instruments meet electro sounds and beats. Five Swiss musicians from different backgrounds and rooted in their respective musical styles discover together a sound cosmos that has been little explored so far. They give Swiss and other folk musicians in the collective a new dress. In their compositions they unite alpine sounds and archaic modernity. MUSICIANS Balthasar Streiff: Alphorn, Büchel, Cornett and related pieces Thomas Aeschbacher: Schwyzerörgeli and Langnauerli Singoh Nketia alias DJ Flink: Beats and sounds Barbara Berger: vocals Christoph Pfändler: dulcimer.
