The Red Ribbon Army was once wiped out by Son Goku. However, Magenta, the son of Commander Red, wants to resurrect it for revenge. To do this, he needs the help of Dr. Hedo, the grandson of the brilliant scientist Dr. Gero. So, Magenta tries to lure Dr. Hedo to his side with nasty lies about Bulma and her friends. He agrees and begins researching new cyborgs that he plans to develop into ultimate weapons. One day, Piccolo is attacked by one of the newly created cyborgs, Gamma 2. While Gamma 2 believes he has killed his opponent, Piccolo pursues him and infiltrates the secret base of the newly established Red Ribbon Army. There, he learns of Magenta's evil schemes. Soon, Piccolo, Son Gohan, and their comrades find themselves confronted with an unprecedented foe: Cell Max, a monster created by Dr. Hedo based on earlier plans from Dr. Gero, equipped with even greater powers. Finally, the 21st cinematic adventure of the cult anime by original creator Akira Toriyama is available on DVD and Blu-ray - Saiyan strong!.
