The tension-filled battles on the planet Potaufeu are over, and in the present, the warriors take a breather. Enraged, Trunks vows revenge, leading to a battle against the overpowering foe. Shortly thereafter, a time machine lands on Earth in the present, carrying a severely injured young man who is filled with rage and hatred towards Son Goku.
