What happens when a being is so powerful that it plays with the fate of planets to pass the time between breakfast and lunch? The inhabitants of Earth must painfully find out. The megalomaniacal wizard Babidi has resurrected an ancient being, a magical creature, and unleashed it upon humanity. However, this being is not inherently evil; it simply cannot distinguish between good and evil. When it is hungry, it turns people into candy and devours them. When it is bored, it destroys cities and countries just for fun. Under the control of the mad wizard, this Boo is nothing more than a willing tool. Like a divine plague, Boo sweeps across the land and devastates the world. Of course, the brave warriors Son Gohan and his friends stand against it. But so far, they don't even know what they are dealing with or how they will stop this cruel killing and destruction—they have not the slightest clue.
