Dr. Who and the Daleks - Digitally Remastered (DVD)

Dr. Who (Peter Cushing), an inventor and scientist, has designed a machine: TARDIS! The modified police box serves as both a time machine and a spaceship. The Doctor lives with his granddaughters Susan (Roberta Tovey) and Barbara (Jennie Linden). During a visit, Barbara's friend Ian (Roy Castle) accidentally activates the TARDIS, and the four embark on a journey through time and space into the dark, uncharted depths of the universe. On the planet Skaro, they find themselves caught in the middle of a war between the peaceful Thals and a malevolent, destructive life form: the Daleks.

Caution: Cult factor! "Dr. Who and the Daleks" is the first film to bring the legendary sci-fi series to the big screen, directed by Gordon Flemyng, and it is the first to be presented in color. Character actor Peter Cushing shines in the role of the Doctor, while his granddaughters are portrayed by Jennie Linden and Roberta Tovey.
