Dr. Siri and the missing monk

A missing monk and a mysterious note in the refrigerator. Pathologist Dr. Siri Paiboun shares his small house in Laos with some unusual housemates. But one day, one of them disappears without a trace. The only thing the Buddhist forest monk leaves behind is a mysterious message in the fridge, asking Siri to help another monk escape across the Mekong. Of course, Siri cannot resist such an adventure, and soon he finds himself entangled in a complex web of intelligence agents and spiritualists. Apparently, there is someone committing terrible crimes under the guise of religion.
