Life Of Pi

Pi Patel is the son of an Indian zoo director. A catastrophe leads him to drift in a lifeboat in the middle of the ocean, cut off from the outside world. He shares this lifeboat with the only other survivor: a fearsome Bengal tiger named Richard Parker, with whom he forms a miraculous and unexpected bond. Pi uses all his ingenuity to train the tiger, his courage to withstand the elements, and ultimately his faith to muster the strength to save them both. The fateful journey of the teenager increasingly becomes an epic adventure filled with dangerous discoveries and experiences.
