Product details
Eight years have passed since Harvey Dent died and became a hero. The city of Gotham commemorates him every year, partly because the laws named after him have reduced the crime rate to a minimum. These laws allowed the police to imprison criminals in a heavily guarded city jail without the chance of parole. Batman, who has been blamed for Dent's death, has remained missing since then. Bruce Wayne has also completely withdrawn from social life, living in seclusion in the north wing of his house, cared for only by Alfred. When he catches a thief stealing a pearl necklace from his safe, the man on crutches is unable to stop her. However, he realizes that the theft was merely a pretext to obtain his fingerprints. Intrigued, he begins to investigate further and learns about a strangely masked man named Bane, whose activities are becoming a threat to Gotham. Against Alfred's wishes, he decides to don his Batman costume once again.
