Super-spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) is pretty much the exact opposite of scientist Walter Beckett (Tom Holland). Lance is cool, charming, and skilled. Walter is not. What Walter lacks in social skills, he makes up for with ingenuity and intelligence. His scientific genius invents the gadgets that Lance uses on his adventurous missions. When events take an unexpected turn, Walter and Lance suddenly have to rely on each other in completely different ways.
