The last day of school! The clock is ticking, and summer vacation is just minutes away. The East High Wildcats are looking forward to three months of sun, fun, and... work? Troy, along with Gabriella and his friends, has landed a summer job at the exclusive Lava Springs Country Club. However, Sharpay uses her influence over the club manager to make life difficult for the friends. At the same time, she leverages her father's connections to introduce Troy to the city's most important people. He quickly realizes the benefits of being friends with Sharpay's family, and soon Troy is spending more time with her than with Gabriella and his Wildcat buddies.
