Diabolus

The cryptographic division of the US intelligence agency NSA has a secret supercomputer capable of breaking any code and thus any encrypted message in a very short time. The computer is used when terrorists, drug traffickers, and other criminals obscure their plans with coded texts, putting the security of the USA at risk. In the past, cryptographers were able to crack hundreds of codes daily, until the day Diabolus was deployed: a mysterious program that apparently overwhelms the supercomputer. The developer of the program threatens to make Diabolus publicly accessible. If this program were to become the encryption standard, the NSA's ability to effectively combat crime would be undermined overnight. The agency's employees are pulling out all the stops to prevent the impending disaster.
