Peter Lundt's second case begins innocently: A Hanseatic businessman asks him to track down his son, who has gone missing after family disputes. Now, his grandfather is dying, and the family wishes for his return. The trail leads to Hong Kong. With the prospect of a generous fee and the chance to finally afford a new office, the blind detective sets off for the Far East. He is accompanied by stripper Sally Vation, his non-relationship, and the curses of his student assistant Anna Schmidt, who had already envisioned herself on the plane. However, Anna must now handle the case from home and, along with Commissioner Oliver Zornvogel, soon finds herself very busy.
