Der Frieden ist ausgebrochen

When the war broke out in Ukraine, many people were unsettled, especially children who struggled to understand what was happening and why. Out of the necessity to explain conflict situations to children, but – and this is what we all want – to find solutions for peace, a book idea by Willi Weitzel emerged. Unfortunately, there is always some war happening somewhere in the world, and this topic, whether near or far, is sadly a part of everyday life. "Peace Has Broken Out" allows children to engage in a dialogue between father and daughter and encourages discussion and reflection on the possibilities for peace. Because what is more important than ensuring that freedom, justice, and love have their place in life and remain there? This book does not claim to fully explain war, but it raises thoughts on what is necessary for peace to come and stay.
