Edith Wight can hardly wait to spend the Christmas holidays with her uncle, the doctor for magical and mythical animals. She is excited to reunite with all her animal and human friends. An adventure awaits once again, as one of the six remaining phoenixes in the world has gone missing and is in great danger. Accompanied by Arnold, her loyal dog, and Francis, Edith and the veterinarian set off to Bavaria to track down the phoenix. Along the way, they encounter a new enemy, a villain who uses the ashes of the phoenix to create magical chimeras that he sells to the syndicate. Together with her new friend Zee-Zee, Edith is determined to rescue the phoenix and bring the syndicate to justice once and for all.
