Once upon a time, there was a prince searching for the prince of his heart, a rabbit with three ears, and a princess who preferred adventures over marriage. The 17 modern retellings of fairy tales were published in Hungary in 2021, where the book became a bestseller despite significant political resistance. The STERN magazine brought the fairy tale land to the German-speaking world in 2022, making a statement for more liberalism and diversity.
