When Jakob claims to have seen a strange cat in the garden, Conni doesn't believe a word of it. The animal is said to have eaten from the mouse's bowl. However, Conni is certain that there isn't a single black cat in the entire neighborhood. Then, Tomcat Mau starts to behave strangely. He suddenly seems fearful and hardly wants to leave the house.
