Colourful Violin Wonderland - Volume 1

This lovingly designed, vibrant school comes with many fun illustrations for young violin students. It can be used as an independent teaching resource, but is also suitable as supplementary literature for other instrumental schools. The spiral binding makes it easy to open. Initially, it starts with colorful notes, gradually transitioning to black notes. Well-known songs and original compositions are played with student and teacher parts (including chord symbols for accompaniment). The C major scale is introduced note by note, facilitating ensemble playing with piano and flute. Additionally, there are drawing tasks and puzzles for learning notes, improvising, and composing – after many lessons, there is also a card, ear, movement, or dice game for playful learning of the previous music theory background. A checklist for songs, medals, and the coveted certificate to visualize and reward learning progress complete the school. In the first volume, playing on open strings is introduced, along with basic bowing techniques using quarter notes, half notes, and quarter rests, forte and piano, leading up to the beginning of finger placement across all strings with finger numbers and an introduction to music notation.
