Two episodes of the original series "The Children of Bullerbü" from the 1960s based on the books by Astrid Lindgren. Siblings Bosse, Lasse, and Lisa, along with their friends Anna, Britta, and Olle, as well as Olle's little sister Kerstin, experience exciting holidays in every season in their small hometown of Bullerbü, which consists of just three farms: Südhof, Mittelhof, and Nordhof. In winter, the children frolic in the snow, while in summer they run barefoot through nature. They play hide and seek or with the dog, feed animals, wrestle, climb over fences, and play pranks on each other and others.

Episode 1: Christmas Feast at Aunt Jenny's
Every year at Christmas, the whole family gathers at Aunt Jenny's for the festive feast. And when many children come together, the most exciting games always follow.

In winter, the frozen lake is an ideal playground, though a very dangerous one. Soon, a true ice skating artist finds himself in the water. A glass of hot honey milk and good friends can heal even the worst scrapes.

Short Film about Tomte Tummetott
Tomte Tummetott, a small old gnome with a red pointed hat and a bushy beard, has lived in a hayloft for centuries. At night, he comes out to watch over the inhabitants of the farm.

Episode 3: Tomte Tummetott and the Fox
When the people and animals are asleep, Tomte Tummetott comes out of his hiding place. He is the good house spirit of the parents, children, chickens, cows, and sheep. On cold winter nights, he encourages them and ensures that no harm comes to them. And no one has ever seen him, at least not until this night. The hungry fox Mikkel sneaks onto the farm. Due to the winter, he hasn’t found anything to eat for a long time, and the chickens are a welcome prey. But luckily, Tomte Tummetott is there!
