Carol

In 1950s New York, Carol is trapped in an unfulfilling marriage with her wealthy husband Harge. She meets the young Therese, who works in a department store and dreams of a better life. During a shared trip, a special bond develops between them – ultimately leading to great love. However, Harge refuses to accept his wife's newfound happiness. He hires a private detective to follow the newly in-love couple and gather crucial evidence for the ongoing divorce proceedings. Carol soon has to fight for custody of her beloved daughter, as her husband tries to take it away from her by any means necessary.
