A great children's thriller to read aloudCamille works in the art industry. She wears horn-rimmed glasses and black turtlenecks, of course. Oh yes, and Camille is a rat. She lives in an art museum with lots and lots of paintings and statues. Camille knows her way around, unlike her flatmate. Hugo is a flying fox and doesn't give a damn about art. To him, the pictures all look the same. Just colourful. Sometimes Hugo secretly nibbles on a lemon from a Beuys installation. But only when Camille doesn't see him. One day, Camille observes strange people. They are so different from the museum visitors she usually eavesdrops on. These two guys only talk about the alarm system, not a bit about brushstrokes or colour palettes. When Camille hears noises at night, she becomes suspicious. Sure enough, two people have just taken a painting off the wall. In the dark! How can she convict them? Hugo sails over. He wouldn't mind one picture more or less. But the thieves are about to take his favourite slide. The slide that Camille claims is a sculpture by a biped named Michelangelo. Fortunately, the two of them have good eyes, good noses and good ideas.
