Product details
Kansas, 1870: The student Will Andrews turns his back on Harvard to find his fortune in the Wild West. He ends up in Butcher's Crossing, a place in the middle of nowhere. The place is teeming with restless men, whores and shady characters. In search of money and adventure, Andrews joins a group of buffalo hunters. After a gruelling journey, they reach their destination and, obsessed with killing the buffalo, go on a bloodlust. Soon winter catches up with them. Only in spring, half mad from hunger and cold, can they return home. But what awaits them is a world that has changed as radically as they have.
