Michael Reimann, born in Berlin in 1951, studied conducting and choral direction at the Cologne University of Music. He became known for his solo concert activities as a multi-instrumentalist, overtone singer, and specialist author. He was a performer at Saarländischer Rundfunk, a lecturer at Saarbrücken University of Music, and collaborated with Joachim-Ernst Berendt and Christian Bollmann, among others. Since 1987, he has been giving concerts and seminars throughout Europe. In 2015, he was engaged multiple times by WDR Köln as a pianist. His study trips have taken him to Bali, India, and Japan, among other places. In addition to several books, he has released numerous CDs, eleven of which were published by Amra Verlag, partly in collaboration with Jeanne Ruland, Wolfgang Saus, Shantidevi, and Kerstin Simoné.
