The initiative "No Bilingue" now demands only one national language. The result is a crazy referendum that plunges our country into a chaotic state of emergency. This is especially true when it is officially declared: Switzerland will be unilingual French. Many citizens are experiencing a crisis as a result. This includes Walter Egli, played by Beat Schlatter, who works for the federal police, speaks no French at all, and must ensure that the transition to unilingualism proceeds properly. Together with his Welsh partner, he is tasked with uncovering a resistance group emerging in southern Switzerland that is fighting against the implementation of the initiative by any means necessary.
