Product details

1976: Jamaica is experiencing civil war-like conditions. To promote peace and understanding among his fellow countrymen, Bob Marley announces a large free concert in the capital, Kingston. However, shortly before the event, armed men break into the house where the reggae star lives with his wife Rita, their children, and some friends and band members. Without hesitation, the men fire their weapons wildly. There are several serious injuries, but fortunately, no fatalities. To ensure the safety of his family and band, Marley agrees to temporarily move to London with them. There, he records Exodus, his most musically and thematically significant album, which catapults him to global superstardom. However, the still precarious situation in his homeland does not allow him to find peace, nor does a disease that initially presents itself subtly but soon becomes increasingly persistent.
