When Hotzenplotz snatches the musical coffee grinder from the grandmother, it becomes clear that the robber must finally be caught. Constable Dimpfelmoser immediately gets to work, but Kasperl and Seppl have their own plans. With cleverness, they manage to follow the thief to his cave. However, before they know it, they themselves fall into the clutches of the cunning robber. Kasperl is to serve him, and Seppl is to be sold to the evil wizard Zwackelmann. But Kasperl and Seppl have swapped their hats, causing Hotzenplotz to confuse them and ultimately deliver the clever Kasperl to Wizard Zwackelmann. Kasperl in a wizard's castle?
