Mikołaj is fifteen years old, mathematically gifted, has only one friend, and is overweight, which causes him to feel insecure. He also has issues with his parents. After their divorce, they still argue, and their son feels pushed to the sidelines.

Surprisingly, the shared commute to school brings Mikołaj and Tamara closer together. She is also an outsider, but she has no intention of playing the victim. He enjoys listening to her, but... he only sees Blanka. When the prettiest girl in class starts corresponding with him, his life takes on a new dimension.
