For a small reindeer like Ailo, the world is a grand adventure! Born in the wild and majestic nature of Lapland, Ailo must embark on a dangerous journey with his herd through the frozen taiga, past imposing fjords and rugged mountains, which will last an entire year. Each new day brings surprises for Ailo, but also dangers: he encounters arctic foxes, lemmings, eagles, wolves, squirrels, and weasels - harmless animals and those that a small reindeer should be wary of. By his mother's side, Ailo learns to survive and grows into a large reindeer during his herd's migration through the wilds of Lapland.
