Allmen and the secret of eroticism

At a reading, Johann Friedrich von Allmen, an art detective and bon vivant, meets a mysterious young woman: Jasmin Sterner. To impress the beauty, who is growing up in an order under the care of Cognatus Reimund, he steals a valuable Fabergé egg—unaware that he is stepping into a staged trap. Wilhelm Krähenbühler, a somewhat dubious contemporary, blackmails Allmen with the theft and forces him to carry out a risky burglary. Allmen, reluctantly, along with his loyal servant Carlos, steals an extremely rare porcelain collection from an exclusive storage facility. As Allmen is not one to be easily blackmailed and is also completely captivated by Jasmin, the problems for him and Carlos are just beginning...
