Even the six-month break in communication has not changed anything: they are and remain a dream couple. No one fits Emmi as well as Leo. No one counters Leo's evasive maneuvers as quickly as Emmi. A perfect relationship. If it weren't for one flaw: the two have exchanged millions of words in writing—tender, persuasive, curt, enthusiastic, lofty, sad. But they have never met. There will be a "first and last" meeting, followed by more encounters.
