No jobs, no money, and an endless line in front of the unemployment office! But six unemployed steel workers from Sheffield can't be kept down. Inspired by a performance by the male strippers 'The Chippendales', Gaz (Robert Carlyle) senses the unique chance to make the big, fast money. Together with a hand-picked team of fellow sufferers, he founds his own stripper troupe and announces a daring show.
