A roof over your head

The Caduff family, with six children, lives in a temporary housing barrack on the outskirts of Zurich. The father loses his job at the factory. One child cannot be promoted to the next grade. Two boys are afraid to go home because they broke a window. The oldest daughter stays out overnight. On Zurichberg, contractor and real estate agent Frehner offers the Caduffs a new, very affordable apartment on the first floor of a villa. He hopes that the noise from the family will provoke a termination from the constantly complaining Eidenbenz in the ground-floor apartment.
