A Midsummer Night's Dream

Tuscany, late 19th century. Hermia, the daughter of the count, secretly meets with Lysander instead of pledging her loyalty to Demetrius, as her father wishes. That very night, the two lovers flee into the nearby forest. The enraged Demetrius chases after them, followed by the heartbroken Helena, who is in love with him. They find themselves caught in the midst of the tumultuous relationship between the fairy king Oberon and his queen Titania. Oberon seeks to take revenge on his wife with magical love drops. However, his servant Puck, whom he sends off with the enchanted vial, creates an indescribable emotional chaos among the happy and unhappy lovers.
