In this wildly outrageous film, Borat sets off from his primitive Kazakh hometown to the great America to closely study the lives of Americans and create an educational film for his country.

The goal of the journey: to culturally learn about America in order to benefit the glorious nation of Kazakhstan. Upon arriving in New York, it is not Borat who must quickly adapt to the new environment and culture, but rather the New Yorkers who must adapt to Borat. With his naive, clumsy, very direct, and equally controversial manner, he leaves a significant mark and causes a stir everywhere he goes.

On his journey across the country, Borat encounters real people in real situations with hilarious consequences, leading to highly controversial scenes where many Americans unwittingly make bizarre statements and confessions.
